There is much to the story of the Easter Hare and its origins in European Folklore, Paganism and the blending of rituals with Christianity. The Grimm Brothers played a role in spreading the story. Mia also has a hare friend in my tales.
Easter or Ostara is associated with fertility, birth, the true coming and celebration of Spring.
